Data we collect
Contact forms: your full name, company name, email address and the description of your project. These fields are sent to us by email; the website does not store them in a database.
Browsing data: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and technical identifiers, collected with your consent by the audience measurement tools loaded through Google Tag Manager, and anonymous performance metrics collected by Vercel Speed Insights.
Purposes and legal bases
Answering your requests and preparing a proposal: steps taken at your request prior to a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
Measuring the audience of the website: your consent, where it is required.
Monitoring the performance and security of the website: our legitimate interest in providing a fast and reliable website.
Recipients
Your data is only accessible to the YUCCA LAB team. It is never sold. We rely on the following service providers, acting as processors: Vercel Inc. (hosting), Amazon Web Services (sending contact form emails) and Google (audience measurement).
Transfers outside the European Union
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers are governed by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Retention periods
Contact requests: up to 3 years after our last exchange, unless a contract is signed, in which case the retention rules applying to our business relationship take over.
Audience measurement: cookies are kept for up to 13 months and the data collected for up to 25 months.
Cookies
The website uses audience measurement cookies placed by the tools loaded through Google Tag Manager. These tools are only loaded once you have agreed to it in the banner shown on your first visit. Your choice, whether you accept or refuse, is kept in your browser for 6 months, after which we ask you again.
You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, the audience measurement cookies placed on our domain are deleted. Refusing does not prevent you from browsing the website.
Some project pages also embed YouTube videos, served in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Playing them may lead Google to place cookies.
You can also block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, to withdraw your consent at any time and to set guidelines for what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to hello@yuccalab.fr. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or to regulations. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
